📚 Support literacy in your community with a gift today!

Today is Library Giving Day, a national fundraiser in support of libraries. Support your local Tacoma Public Library Foundation to invest in literacy through play!

Your gift of any amount will help the library to provide materials, spaces, and programs that build literacy through creativity and play for all ages.

Some examples of the programs your donation supports:

• $10 can purchase prizes for preschoolers who read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten
• $25 can purchase materials for Storytime such as parachutes, puppets, rhythm shakers, or bubbles
• $50 can provide kids, teens and adults with specialized materials for hands-on skill building and creativity in TPL Maker Labs!
• $75 can purchase a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Backpack with materials that can be checked out for at-home learning
• $100 will help purchase furnishings to help us create Teen Spaces in all libraries
• $500 can sponsor a program such as a World Language Storytime in Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese

No matter the size of your gift, it will help fund popular programs that engage library users of all ages with programs, activities, and materials that advance literacy through play.
